Hi guys, what’s going on?
For the last four weeks I’ve been doing Chad Waterbury’s Huge in a Hurry Program where you lift twice a day in the AM and PM.
I’ve done this 3x before, but this time I decided to combine the programs into one session, rather than returning to the gym.
I live on the beach and being that it’s summer, the parking here can be dreadful- so you never leave the house when you don’t need to; it’s not so bad, why would anyone want to leave the beach at summer?
Also, my work schedule hardly has me going into my office in the summer, so without that regiment of passing the gym to and from work, I didn’t want to do t the way it was written.
My strength gains did not suffer at all from this approach. There were some days that were more difficult than others and if I didn’t eat much the day before I worked out in the morning, I felt like absoulte garbage during the lifting.
But I do not believe that following the program ‘as written” is contingent upon the program working for people looking to make strength gains.
However, it’s worth mentioning that since I’ve done this several times over, my knowledge of the lifts and set-up of the program is pretty well versed.
But I would recommend it to anyone who wants to give it a shot. Each session lasted between 40 minutes and an hour.
